Ephren Taylor, African American Self made Millionaire at 17 donates stock, $5000 and passenger van to two Los Angeles charities dedicated to youth.

“We’re proving that it’s possible to maintain a profitable company, while remaining socially-conscious. We believe in giving back as much as possible to the communities we work with.”

Los Angels, CA July 17 - A 14 passenger van, $5000 and 10,000 shares of stock are the donations that will benefit the Snoop Youth Football League and FAMLI, Inc., both local nonprofits at a presentation by Ephren Taylor at the California African American Museum on July 30, 2006 at 3pm.

Taylor, America’s youngest African American to take a company public at age 23 has since taken another company public and is planning on a third before the year’s end. Dedicated to empowering communities through socially conscious development, Taylor has built several companies that are responsible for over $150,000,000 in real estate development.

“We’re proving that it’s possible to maintain a profitable company, while remaining socially-conscious. We believe in giving back as much as possible to the communities we work with.”

Taylor manages the endowment for Snoop Dogg and his Snoop Youth Football League’s youth group and is donating 10,000 shares of AmoroCorp stock to aid its fall activities and is awarding $5000 to the top 3 chapters of the league in attendance.

FAMLI, Inc., recently highlighted in the Los Angeles Times for their mentoring program, See A Man, Be A Man, will receive a 14 passenger van and according to Executive Director Torre Brannon Reese, the donation will aid the program in providing field trips to expose youth to art and cultural programs around the city.

Taylor will also share plans for a new credit investment program that can help to change the landscape of urban America where individuals that have no cash to invest can use their good credit ratings instead. “Our urban areas are where we need to put more investor dollars, not in more McMansions in the suburbs,” Taylor said.

The event is free and the public is invited to attend. Families are welcomed. A donation of school supplies is requested,to be distributed to children participating in the youth programs. Emcee for the event is comedian Kim Vaughn and a reception will follow. For more information, call 310-294-9637.
